Hey that a nice choice for network security. But been a fresher, a network security job will be like skipping the L1 level and moving directly with L2 level.
You should be well versed with networking fundamentals and concepts. Give the certification with proper planning, been a 12-14K exam one must now rush to it. So give a thought and make plans to give the exam and then search out for jobs pertaining not only net security but also basis networking is fine. This will lay a foundation block for your future goals for network security.
Attend as much interviews as possible to get more feel of the questions been asked as such ventures.
Best of luck for your future
