I am going to finish my BE degree at may 2010.So I need some information regarding job oppertunites in my field.
Along with the suggestions given by Sham,Anirben and Gargi,-A small suggestion
To start with Look out for job in the area you like to go in . If it is not available look out for the job in your general feild of study.
Let salary be a secondary priority.job and experience for a fresher is precious.let that be your first priority.

Karthik what Mr.Charles said is true being a fresher give second priority to salary and join any kind of job related to your stream.
To know the openings keep in contact with the top job portals. Register yourself in such websites and they will keep updating you now and then....

Is this a sellers market or buyers market at present? Why not HR consultants themselves search for right profiles and make an offer? Or is the scene so comfortable for them that if there is an opening, right candidate is easily available. What is the present state of affairs?
Just Zero on some big job sites like Naukri, Monster and do regular search. Keep your profile updated and keep contact with all your friends. That's it.
Always keep your skill sets updated. Be very active and participate in those social networking sites where job postings are done. Like an eagle, hunt for job which matches your skills. Click on the jobs which matches your profile and apply for them.
