Do they hire warehouses to store their inventory?

They contract with various suppliers for different products. When customer order for product, such online shopping sites pass such orders to suppliers. ex.Amazon.com

do these websites store the products they sell online or they directly ship them from the manufacturers/distributors to the end customer thus saving the inventory storage cost?

On line shopping are very effective way of shopping in modern err...There are different Logistic and SCM benefit of it!!! But security problemes play a are very crucial role for success of it!!!!!!!
