We keep looking at many people every day and form opinions based on their physical features and body language etc.
Does the same thing happen to us when we really look at ourselves in the mirror? Also, can we really look at ourselves as others look at us? Is it really possible to introspect?
Mr. Raghu.. when you see into your own eyes.. you evaluate yourself.. analyse and believe it could have been better.. the feeling which keeps coming is your soul which is in search of peace..
And for peace.. you have done nothing but celebrate events in life with daily routine activities..!
You must meditate to see that, you are more of a cheerful, undemanding, strong, peaceful and a happy soul.. The body, which is home of this soul will be of no significance anymore..! trust me..
While we look at others, we try to evaluate them. While we see ourselves in the mirror, we do not feel the need for evaluation because we think we already know ourselves; though sometimes we use this for physical examination of a scar or some other physical aspect.
You can look at your body as an alien matter, if you are a yogi, treating your own body as an instrument gifted to you by Mother Nature.
It seems many do.....I see into the mirror just to comb my hair or apply some cream for as Mr Vishwanath says you can never see within u thru the mirror.....and anyway mirror always reflect an inverted image....which itself is not truthful reflection and if I trust the mirror then what I see is not a visage am impressed with but hen I go soul searching sitting on a chair or lying in bed I get more encouraging response....people like me for what I am and not what I look like
