I totally agree with you Mr James, cause organization need to have both strategies (Policies) and their implementations on a keen equilibrium..
Policy deployment need to have operational effectiveness as well as it should be kept in mind that what strategies are made by the upper management ...before thinking about their operational effectiveness.
Atul both are different but has to go hand in hand for an organization to be successful.....
Managers must clearly distinguish operational effectiveness from strategy. Both are essential, but the two agendas are different. The operational agenda involves continual improvement everywhere there are no trade-offs. Failure to do this creates vulnerability even for companies with a good strategy.
