how superarea of a building is calculated; is sunshades incluted in itz calculation; is the area of the staircase takes 1.5 times the roof over stairs & what about the lift duct?
ducts are included or excluted?

The super area includes built up area plus mark up for common space like lifts,stairs. usually 25% of mark up area may be added to built up area. i have not come across where 1.5 times the roof over stairs is added.While calculating super area 1.25 multiplying factor is also considered to be added to built up area which included lobby,open spaces,lift etc.

well, basic rule of civil engineering is the answer to it...and good civil engineer is one who creates something with "1st safety and 2nd economy" so, looks dont come anywhere..!! |
