Dear all ,
my question is ,how to calculate manpower for shift basis . in a company based on customer requirements .
what is the way to calculate manpower ? please clear my doubts ..
First you have to have the targeted production levels and dead line to complete the job.
You must also possess the industry time averages to complete certain skilled, semi skilled, other such jobs.
Then you must have to arrive the viability of the manpower cost to the profit target for the given quantity of product.
It is a team activity from various departments like accounts, board members, production manager, etc. to determine the requirement of manpower rather than individual brain storming.
