Hi all, I'm working as a business development executive and have done B.Tech in CS and want to go for market research. Kindly suggest how to proceed in my career. Is a MBA degree nesseccity for my career??? Or I should go for Msc. in Statistics

Yes, an MBA would definitely help getting a job in Market Research company easier but is not a nessecity. MA economics, Msc Statistics are preffered but would limit ur scope with regard to career development, as MBA's are preffered for increasing resposibilities. Considering that ur a CompSc guy i would suggest u to go for SAS certification as SAS programmers are in great demand in market research companies. MBA + SAS + MS Excel Adv + Exllnt Comm skills would propel ur career to a dizzieng heights. Happy tansition!
