How to file complaint in consumer protection forum?

First of all you ensure that you are a consumer under the Consumer protection Act, if you find it yes, then if you have any complaint against the service provided or goods purchased which you received on payment for such service or goods, draft a detailed complaint memorandum with sufficient documents to proove your complaint. This neetly drafted complaint memorandum is to be filed before the District consumer redressal forum for which you will have to pay a nominal filing fee. On filing the memorandum the conserned officials of the forum will scrutinise the memorandum and if any mistake is found you will be directed to rectify the mistake. After this, they will issue nitice to the respondent and will provide both of you an oportunity of being heard to proove your case yourselves. On hearing both sides or all the parties to the complaint forum will pass an order besed on the evidenses and the facts and circumstances of the case. This the proceedure followed by the consumer redressal forum.
