MovieFlix.com has Real Video and Windows media movie streams. If you want to be able to record streaming movies from MovieFlix in both formats you need a recorder which is capable of recording both formats: Real Video and Windows Media. You may also use 2 separate programs: Real Video recorder and Windows Media recorder.
