Thank you Bharath And Desso for answering the question,actually I have to make a project on service operation management and your answers have helped me alot in deciding the firm to work on.
I will work on Yatra.com and try and to write its service blue print ,service delivery system,service concept.

Well, it depends on the service u are looking at. In banking, it has to be ICICI as their service blueprint is very very good. In automobile sales, Maruti closely followed by hyundai. If you are looking at telecom, i would say vodafone... mobile handsets would be nokia. basically, u need to evaluate how strong their service blueprints are and whether they follow them correctly to figure out how good they are... oh btw, not to forget taj hotels :)

Priyanka, not sure which sector / vertical you are targeting - Still, out of the personal touch points I passed through I have felt erstwhile Hutch(now Vodafone), HDFC Bank, Airtel, Manpower (executive search firm), www.Yatra.com, HYPERCity, are the ones which can be considered the best in the ocean of service providers in INDIA. In B2B scenario, only those professionals can answer your question. (Even though i work in a B2B service providing organization, i reserve my answer here for obvious reasons) But I feel to single out one "THE" best service provider would be a herculean task and is too macro a question.....Never the less it is an interesting question, and not asked very frequently.....
