I am a seasoned professional Civil Engineer with advanced Professional degree (1986) and M.S.(1980) degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, NY. In 1973, I obtained B.Sc. (Civil Engg.) degree from the Institute of Technology, BHU.
In 1974, I joined TISCO, Jamshedpur, and worked there for 5 years. Thereafter, in 1979, I migrated to Columbia University,New York for higher studies. In 1980, I completed M.S. degree in C.E. and started working in N.Y. In the interim, I continued my studies on part time basis, and in 1986, obtained a Professional degree in C.E. from the same University. I lived and worked in New York City for 19 years and then came back to India in 1998 owing to a commitment to my family.
I am having 33 years of professional experience in analysis,design,construction/project management of steel and concrete buildings, steel and pre-stressed concrete girder bridges, highways, steel mill equipment and material handling structures.
At present, I am living and working in Kolkata for the last 12 years. I am not satisfied with my present assignment in Kolkata. As I am almost 60 years old, I am not in a position to relocate to other cities. If you happen to know a suitable assignment in Kolkata, pl. let me know. Your co-operation in this matter will be long remembered. Thanks,
