- The online legal services are growing as the internet is spreading, people are getting legal documents drafts ready on internet, lawyers legal drafting work is certainly going to affect, Days will come when government will allow online court case filing , ready made drafts as like software programmers are becoming redundant will lawyers also become jobless due to E- lawyering.
No, I don't think so. As Muralidharan said....tech savvy lawyers will be the most wanted and will always have a job.
Not to have a job....this can happen in any field. What if you are the best trained doctor but you are a minority and some people in the right wing tells you that "we will NOT allow you to work any where in India no matter how 'nice' you are". So, the moral of the story is that technology is not going to "make or break" your ambitions/chances for a good life, there are other factors which decides your survival....you can also call this as "fate".
Even if you create virtual lawyers it is not going to change anything in India as long as you can bribe a judge, technology cannot do much, can it?
I doubt so. Those who will get affected could be those who aid Notary Public / Lawyers in preparing the documents for their clients. If the lawyers are smart enough to templatise the documents depending upon the cases, they can save their overheads and time too! This will enable speedy disposal of cases from their chambers so that they can utilize the time for soliciting more clients. Here, the smart tech-savvy lawyers would be able to swim over the tide flawlessly!
