What is the right age if we want to invest for the future of a girl child?
What type of investment would be better for her future?
What should be the age at which she should get that maturity or investment?
How should the investment be - like single owner, joint or nomination?
treat your daughter as you would treat you son and invest the same way as you would do it for your son.only difference is when you are doing investment in non movable properties,invest in your name and when it is appropritate pay in cash or sell off.equallent amount or if you get your daughter married in the same place well no porblems.
invest in childs education,teach her the tricks of living and leading a house.and as well as business women have great capabalities,if given proper training can do what men can do.it depends what training you are giving.
the best education is training to be able to carry on life as usual.be able to fight any situation.
i hope someone who get married to her shoul d not have a tension,if i am not there what she would do.
in short invest in her training.and believe put saput toa kyu dhan sanchay,put kaput toa khu dhan sanshay.(if th e time is good you woul d have enough to give her,and if the time is bad, even if you work very hard,planned well you would not be able to support her)
we should know that surviving today is the most important point.
save regulaalry smal amounts for raininy days.first your self and family next is what you would need in the next six months...then one year and so on for the next coming years.
save everyday. spend less elctricity,have a simple life style.make her habituated to a simple life style which needs very little to survive.when you know to survive within your means you can fight any situation.
provied good health care and healthy life style.
getting her married to educated person( capable to earn a lively hood),rest will follow.
if her deeds are good she would have enough money to take care of herself and her family.
Yes education and marriage, also for contingencies. It is the earlier the better. Since it is long term can have equity. Also the parents should have proper insurance cover.
In my opinion one should start since birth and both for marriage and education ,there are many such as l i c ,u t i etc which have plans and policies gives payment at intervals and the maturity.
I think 5 yrs is the right age to start an investment for future of a girl child.
You can go for a life insurance plan or many other policies that are today available. You can go for 10/20 yrs i.e, when she is 15/25 yrs. At 15 for her education . If one is able to afford you can extend that insurance plan for another 10 years. Expenditure for marraige from girls side seems to be more always . So by that time one can utilise the investment. Joint or nomination is always better from the father/mother or any other family member as per your comfort.
I my opinion, there should be at least two major types of investments in the name of daughters:
1) Education
2) Marriage
