while checking on the past decade you can really see a great difference that doccured in the bollywood films.
the formula has changed from hero villain heroine to new and innovative concepts. directors are daring to take unique plots as their story lines and a lot of great actors showed up.But there is sudden convergence to what is called multiplex films or english speaking Hindi films.i am not talking about the arthouse films. but the english speaking films have been increased considerably.
SRK is speaking in english for atleast 20 minutes in the movies. many english phrases are used unnecessarily in the movies.
the heroes always roams in malls and female roles wear miniskirts and sleeveless.the lower middle-class is never been portrayed in the films everybody has cash to party everyday.
is this to impress the metro audience? is bollywood while trying to impress metro viewers missing the reality in plot?
Hi I don't think it is to impress anybody but to show the culture changing in other places. Instead they can concentrate on the story and try to impress th hollywood ........
We are far behind in the development compared to the Hollywood............... :)
