Both is the right answer. dotNet is flexible and makes it easier for you to code. However, it will (in my opinion) never give you the quickest solution or the one that runs on the least amount of memory. If you want to specialize in system-development, I would personally suggest exploring other options.
Yes... you can use .Net for both System Programming and Application Programming...
I have a working example... I have developed a Network Packet Analyser in C#.Net 2008...
In this project the frontend that is presentation of the packet information and the GUI gives u the application programming and the Protocol stack of TCPIP i developed gives u the System Programming.
Both are the answers.
U can do both System,Application or anything.
The real thing lies in the fact what u r interested and personal choice sometimes.
Although,When it comes to drivers, people tends to refer c++/c for system programming .Although,c is getting down but some quite system level tasks are still in c .
for ex,my friend works in c for internet packet header construction.
But yeah,Mostly its a personal and need driven choice.
okay.. to properly define that you will need to define the difference between systems and application programming first.
applications programming produces software for users (e.g. your browser)
systems programming produces software for the computer (e.g., drivers)
Now that we have that clear, .NET is a tool that you can use for either applications or systems programming.

Through my personal experience I can say that it was a trick that someone was trying to play, the file size which I was attaching was very small but still I was not able to send it and in between it was transfering the link to some other things which... |
Yes, sure I agree that they are entirely different, in television you can calculate on the basis of TRP but in internet the calculation could not be done on the basis of number of clicks. |
I do think CRM can help CSR to solve the issue in a low time. Consider a customer giving a call again for the same issue, he need not repeat the whole story again. CSR can just have a look in the CRM system and can solve the issues at once or earlier.... |
