All cricket enthusiasts must be aware of the thing called Duckworth-lewis method in cricket and how it has been an advantage or disadvantage to different teams on various occasions.Unseasonal rains in South Africa has already affected IPL matches this year and this Duckworth-Lewis method has come into play.
But what do you think is it a fair way to determine the course of the game.
D&L method employs the law of lesser scored overs to be deducted from the final score of the opposition. Meaning it reduces the overs that have not been scored off or relatively low scoring overs (based on the average of the final score in 50 overs) and then the final target is given. It is supposed to increase and heighten the match excitement, but has turned out that the team batting second usually wins!!
I really dont know what is the procedure of Duckworth lewis method. So just can say...ke "saare majja kharab ho jaata hai match kaa..."
