as gas cutting is the worst method of cutting of metals and it results in changing physical and mechanical properties of area cut using this method. But steel used mostly with lap length could over come this problems i suppose. as gas cutting is one of the easiest and fastest ways of cutting used vastly in construction sites a question is will it cause any other problems??

On the basis of Steel chemistry, proper preventive actions are taken during any gas cutting/welding to minimise the distortion.
