In group discussions there will be always an objection to the point made by the group member and then there will be questions raised at a particular group member,, so my question is, whether is it Ok to ask pointed questions at the group members?? do help me out on this..
While you may ask for some clarifications from other members during a Group Discussion, remember that you should not play the act of devils advocate here. Some participants question regularly the statements of the group members with the aim of like proving them wrong and are difficult to convince. By playing the Devil's Advocate, such a participant obstructs the smooth flow of the Group Discussion and does not allow the topic to progress. The pointed questions that he or she asks unsettles the other members, and the quality of the Group Discussion deteriorates there. The Moderator would hold such a person responsible for this, and would judge that person badly. So ill say you avoid such things in an group discussions...
