is learning of any foreign language is useful in carrer ?
Jitendra yes it is really useful. As you know India is going global in all fields, where the importance of foreign language is increasing. So it will add value for your career......
not of much use except one more additional skill in your kitty. see the japanese,chinese,koreans they would never speak any other language other than their own to conduct business any where in the world, and still are one of the most advanced economies in the world.unfortunately we indians feel proud to speak alien languages including english.
Foreign language learning is self satisfaction for most of the people, but for carrier growth, it depends on what type of job you are handling.
COMMUNICATION IS MEETING OF MINDS.A PERSON FLUENT IN MORE LANGUAGES WILL BE ABLE TO GET ALONG WITH MORE PEOPLE AND WILL BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE BETTER RESULTS IN MANY PLACES.ANYBODY LIKES A PERSON TALKING HIS MOTHER TONGUE

of course.....a language allows you to speak on terms readily acceptable to a large mass of people. Language is a matter of communication....for those of us who work. I am not talking about literature research. So it would make sense and would help you to know French if you company is headquartered in France or has large amount of business in France, dont you think?
