I ask because I always here people say and music sing about how it feels like they just started their lives and yet so much has passed them by.... as if life is too short.
Well how long should it be?
What's the golden number?
Where the heck were you all your life?
I mean, sure I may have my days where I'll think something didn't seem to happen that long ago..... sometimes we don't pay attention to those things.... but your life itself?
For me, all my life, I have felt that I am exactly where I am supposed to be in time. I'm 29 years old now.... and I feel like I've been here for 29.... maybe 30. Every year of my life I can remember what I did, where I was, etc. etc......
I didn't go and save the world.... at least to your guy's knowlege anyways..... I didn't fly into space, I didn't lead a nation or make some famous movie..... but thus far in my life, I felt I have done exactly what I was supposed to do to make myself out to who I am today.
And I know I'm sorta getting to that "Half-Way" point in my life..... meh.... seems about half a life time now.
People ask me if I'm getting freaked out that I'm getting up there in my age... and I keep telling them no. heck, any of us could die tomorrow including myself.... why worry about some assumed old age?
Do you enjoy your life now? Are you making sure you don't take it for granted? Are you making sure you don't waste time with things or people who are only going to slow you down and drag you back?
I had a few moments like those..... And while a year or two overall felt like a waste, it was more-so a learning lesson, so it was still worth while.... just not as I expected.
So to you.... do you feel like your life is passing you by too fast, do you feel that it's going too slow, or just right?
