Use of steel has to stay for many more days. Aluminium is highly energy- intensive and very costly still for the users in India.Their are strictly"no no"to green and energy-efficient campaigners. Use of Timbers is banned in Govt.sectors since long to save forestry. Be very careful while using Pre-Engineered buildings for your specific use. The suppliers give such manipulative offers that you may be fooled anytime. If you intend for durability of such thin-walled and cold formed structures, with paintings and its preparations those will be costlier.Once I asked them to submit the data they had assumed, and I found them violating all BIS norms and declared that all of their hundreds of clients are happy.Who is going to verify? Once I was asked by a client of Steel making unit to verify and vet their offers, and I was chilled to find that the web thickness of their 22m high structural special columns are 4mm thick!Imagine the fate of their proximity to hot metal laddles at a distance of 1m with hot metal at 1700 degree celsius.May god save such clients who want things cheap, quickly and do not want to take the botherations of constructions, !
