today every body is talking of IPL.we are seeing lot of media coverage for this tournament irrespective of venue.i just want to know, is this much HYPE is required? by looking at the meek number of viewers in SA, certainly IPL is not worth of this much of publicity.i feel professionalism and tradition of cricket is slowly fading away with this kind of fast cricket.please let me know what others think about this. happy reading.
You have the answer in the briefing itself. Due to the meek number of viewers in SA, the only way how IPL can retain its popularity is through publicity
For IPL-2 South Africa, Yes, becuase cricket is not that much famous there in that region, adn of course this is great to the expension ans promotion of game, if resources are available, lets not consider it in the form of extravagenza show, this is simply utilization of resources available with BCCI, which ultimately highlight capacity and dominence of BCCI in world cricket
