Dear Santosh,

Zero percent inflation is not good for the economy, rather is a sign of deflation and slowwdown.

Ideal inflation in a developing country like India has to be between 4-5%. In the developed countries it has to be around 1-2%. This inflation is essential for a smooth economy.
