If you are looking for money easily getting into the industry (MNC), stability I suggest take a look at Microsoft technologies as this enterprise together with Intel is feeding more than half of the world in the tech space, Microsoft has absolute control of its logo, Linux has so many of them, who is the Bap (father) among them is itself a matter of serious research, I have heard that Mr. Linux trovald conceptualized this Linux stuff. Go for Microsoft technologies the Bap (Bill Gates) is alive and in full control of his trillion dollar global business, well you desire to be a Robin Hood in the tech world (x 86, x 64 platforms) find your jungle (Sherwood) do “mangal”.
In the early stage of anything it's better to follow the already established dictum, when you gain momentum fly, swim, walk, sing, dance, the way you like, Microsoft supports Java, Linux platform, if all of you have got the point without being hurt, I have done my job. Mr. Bill Gates is a college dropout he did attend school, A for apple B for ball, twinkle- twinkle little stars....
Joydeep, its nice to see your responce. But that guy has worked on Java platform and also on Linux.
He found Linux more interesting, suitable for himself.Money is definately a factor but he wants to go into Linux domain bcz of his interest and expertise.
So,keeping it in view please guide him to go ahead in Linux domain by providing guidance about the companies and Linux domain specifications and also what is the best way to approach these companies.
