The recent loss of India to England in the T20 Cricket World Cup is another boulder in the face of India's Winning run in any event, apart from Hockey in the Early 1900's. Be it Cricket, Hockey, Table Tennis, Shooting, Boxing, or any other track and Field Events, Indian Sports always fail in the test of Time? How can we stop this and Make INDIA a Winner, a persuasive, persistant WInner, with a Habit of Winning; be it an Individual like Michael Phelps, or, the Australian Sports Teams?
Sujit bad manners to modify your answer after a comment is made on it. You should behave like a professional and post a second answer.
Not really. Consistently winning t20 is a different thing when u see aussies too going out of the pack. Again if you think t20 is just a game I think again Indians are equally good. They lack professionalism because of lesser pay in games other than cricket. that may be the reason, thats it. If i cant modify my answer then why is the Edit button given there. In fact if we keep posting new comments it become s pretty cumborsome and big page, so why not save space and edit the older one. In fact there is a need for design modification too.
Deepesh your question is very interesting. I feel the same way about sports in my Country. Coming back to your question . Could it be lack of motivation or it is a matter of pressure knowing your country expects so much from you.
India could have won that match which they lost to England but I think it was lack of application on their part. I was supporting them to win and was so disappointed that they lost. However, the look on their faces could tell they were under extreme pressure.
I could speak with confidence about the West Indies cricket team, they know how much the Carribean/West Indies expects them to win every match and when they lose it affects them. They recently lost all the matches against England prior to the start of the T20 and it was so touching to hear Chris Gayle say at the start of the match between Australia and the West Indies that he is hoping to win the match so he could put a smile on the face of the Caribbean people. Beating Australia and India was like winning the trophy for me. I don't care if they don't reach the semi finals/finals.
