What should be the marketing & promotion strategy for any shopping mall opening ceremony in 2 tier city with best taking care of ROI.
Promotion ideas(scratch & win contests, kids centric competitions etc), trade offers (Ek pe ek free types) and similar BTL activities should do the trick!
Road show with innovative activity to pass on the attributes of mall will help a lot.
First find out - what is mall about and what the special services it provides.
Who is TG and why should they come to the mall (benefits) etc...Do some research to design the activity for road show.
Also, if possible then generate database of feature customers and send them invitation.
there are many ways the owner could promote his Mall during the opening ceremony as below.
1.Offer 25% discount for the first 100 customers.
2.Offer 100% retrun of the bill amount for every 101st customer upto a max value of Rs 5000.
3.Offer two movie tickets for purchase of goods valued Rs 1000 and above.
4.Offer a Nano car every week for the first 4 weeks for customers purchasing goods valued above Rs 2500.
