Dear Members
In your opinion, what are the Best Banks in India ? Just name 3 of them giving A, B and C grades. It can be Nationalised or Private Banks. No foreign banks please.
You need not give the reasons or justify your selection. You can take Customer Service, Loan Processing, Different Products offered by the banks into consideration. This helps me in conducting a general survey.

1. ICICI Bank Ltd supply a quality and speedy service in new generation banking .ICICI bank provide a world class service to their clients.
2 . State Bank of India : Bank of common people they provide a good and quality services with their limited capacities as a public undertakings.They are a black horse for the highly competitive banking sector under the new managament polices .
3. Axis Bank : Axis bank voted for a emerging new generation bank .
As Mr. Murali said any bank whether it is private or nationalised banks are governed by the rules and regulations of RBI. But, here the differentiating factor here is only the quality of service to the customers.

State Bank of India. ICICI appears to have unethical collection practices. Also, it is rumoured that the percentage if fake notes from an ICICI ATM is significantly larger than that from other ATMs
A:- Blood Bank.
B:- Knowledge Bank.
C:- Piggy Bank...............................

For my perception the descending order of priority is A:- SBI, B:- ICICI and C:- Citibank
A- ICICI, B-SBI, C- HDFC
Why no body talks about South Indian Bank..
Its also a B Grade Bank Provides a Very Good Customer service..

Mr. Murthy, I agree with your general survey.. But according to my view people are unable to comment on those banks which are really doing good in banking sector because they have no relations with those banks.
ANY WAY according to my opinion :-
SBI - GRADE A
ICICI BANK - GRADE B
PNB - GRADE C
Although i don't have any relation with any of these banks. But If we are only concerned with Indian Banks then its my opinion.
ICICI, HDFC, SBI
HDFC and ICICI for high quality fast services.
SBI for loans @ cheaper rates. Otherwise their services are pathetic.
