Hi Anurang, good question.
The 3G rates are high in India compared to other parts of the globe. The reason being it is a new technology for Indians and they will take time to understand it. Since it is new the rates are high. But now the top telecom industries like airtel, vodafone, bsnl are coming with new tariff which seems to be less than before.
