It is difficult to say...in my opinion most of the articles from Paul, Vicktor, Versha and Devi I feel good.....Specially pauls ICOCA community, Versha's article on quality, Vicktors, business management, Devi's article on bad boss, and Paresh's most of the stories...
I would like to know my friends choice.....I am doing some statistics for effectiveness of social networking and its impact on society....
It is possible that I may forgot the others contributors name to mention....
Dear Mr. Aras, Many thanks for the kind compliments. However, I need to publicly confide that being a hard core technocrat, my English in general is not that good, unlike that of many other esteemed members, specially Mr. Viktor, Ms. Devi and many other in this space. Also in getting aged, words do not come spontaneously and may be I became too lazy to review at times. My apologies for that.
By the way, in addition to ICACO, Social and Community Affairs, I have contributed large number of posting in various communities viz; ‘Telecom’, ‘Telecom & IT’ and ‘Business Community’ also. I have often reproduced many first of its kind innovative ideas in the field of Telecom which I did, thought about and came across while I was associated with that industry for over 50 years.
Though the social web postings in general do not create much impact in the society as a whole, I could make some ripples with some of my postings, "A Bitter Pill for India Reprieve', "It is wrong to sell out wireless spectrum by auction', 'The legality of giving blanket approval of homosectual activities' 'Convergence of Wired & Wireless Telecom" to mention a few.
Thanks again,
----- Paul.
Nitin thanks for your kind comments. I mostly prefer the debates which attracted some steamy comments. Anyway I have gone past that stage. However, I still am a bit carefree in my comments that is actually part of my personality. Mr Makrand, I did not disappear but if many people were in my shoe at Toostep, they might have disappeared off the site a long time ago. I am very busy since some months now but do sign in often to view but not always in the mood to comment or do any posting. My job in the auditing field is not to sit in an office full time but to do a lot of travelling so I use computer at home minimal. On a lighter note a few of my Toostep connections on Facebook will tell you how active I am in the games...stress relief.
I will try to make time to fit TOOSTEP in my busy schedule. This is a promise.
Ujval bhaiyya... bade diplomatic ban rahe hai aap... All Iz Bell!! :))
Honestly I have three favs; Viktor (unfortunately not on anymore). Mr. Abraham Paul and Mr. Kastury!! I also like to look at Alka Thakurs posts they are always very simple and spot on (dont see her nowadays too :( Ms. Kaladeen has also made herself disappear... I used to like her fiesty comments and her posts. Jayant has always presented mind bogglers, debates that are very today and extremely helpful from a marketing pov.
Varsha, Veena, Sonam, Sonal, Gargi, Smita, Durga Rao, Sanjay Kaushik, Malladi, Ramanatha... Thay have all seriously contributed towards the platform for gaining meaningful knowledge.
I also miss Paresh Khanchandani. Mr. Aras, you have really made me completely nostalgic with this topic!! Thanks for reviving those fond memories :) I had to edit my comment and put everything in bold ...
I am serious with my statement in context of this amazing platform as a whole but thanks Nitin & Makrand for pushing me further.
To me, all topics/debates/idea contest etc holds equal value. What makes all this more important for me is people here, their/ views, their presentation, their skills, their thinking patterns & of course the knowledge they have & amongst all these what I can gain from them & what best I can contribute.
I think this adds value to such a survey that how much a personality as a whole can be judged with such blogging & I believe its very important that how a human being understands other human being to translate into business.
To go further, to understand this, its very important that people come up with their original views; of course there is a great stuff on net regarding every thing but its better that people should share their practical experiences rather quoting what theory says & this adds tremendous value.
Lastly I believe any platform/institution/moment remains important till the quality people are attached to it. Like Dhesihan named there are many nice people here to share your time & knowledge with & to say all iz well,,,,
These are the few knowledge items that has excited me
