This cosmic vector summation does not work on small scale. The scale has to be at least the whole solar system. On this scale, earth is just a tiny point. The constituents of earth geo-environmental system like atmosphere and geo-tectonic movements will respond to these perturbations through sun-earth relationship on geological scale of several centuries/thousands of years. So a disaster waiting to happen tomorrow is a very far fetched idea.
