Don't you think scope and objective is same ? If not why ??
In broad sense:
Scope: Total possible area of your work (If I use simple terminology for understanding).
Example: Suppose u work in a simple J2EE project and u are asked in interview " why dont you have practical knowledge in EJB framework"
Then you answer "EJB was not in my scope of the project" but "working in EJB is my goal or objective".
Or you worked for Oracle Apps plsql part and not in OAF framework then ur scope of work is Oracle apps plsql, forms and reports, interfaces and conversion and not OAF.
And your objective or goal is OAF.
Objective/Goal: Objective is your next designated target work and goal is what you want to achieve through your objective.
Scope and Goal are not the same by any means. For example: Cost savings can is and Goal in which the scope will include the ways in which it can be saved like the scenarios such as reduction in the resource or usage of only efficient resource can be the scope, outsourcing the job etc are the scope of the project.
Goal is one result that is required and Scope is an array of areas to work upon to bring in the required result or reach the goal.
Scope statements may take many forms depending on the type of project being implemented and the nature of the organization. The scope statement details the project deliverables and describes the major objectives. The objectives should include measurable success criteria for the project.
Objective simply means that before doing a project or whatever the efforts you are making you should know that for what you are making the efforts? What will be the output of these efforts?

The project management triangle is the three most important factors like time, cost and scope, commonly called the triple constraint. These form the vertices with quality as a central theme. Like 1. Projects must be delivered on time. 2.... |
the absence of foresight on how the architecture will smoothly scale with four or ten or a hundred times the use and sure enough, someone will blame the language or a framework |
