Yes it helps in achieving the higher tensile and compressive strength compared to normal grout, Chips can be used as fillers when the depth is more only to save on the cost of the grouts and not compromising on the strength. Generally manufacturers do suggest in rare cases.

GP2 is a non shrink grout. Where our normal cement slurry or normal grout can not reach or grouting depth is less than 50mm it is recomanded to grout with GP2 - Conbextra., Because it spreads & fill all the voids underneathe the base plate provide higher strength.
Chips can be used for grouting thicknes more than 50mm.

"Some person suggests using GP2 compund for grouting the foundation bolts of heavy machine. Is this correct? what are its benifits from normal grout? Are chips required to be added to the compund and does it affect the strength?"
