I have worked as a ERP Functional Consultant for 3 yrs. now. I have experience in almost every role of ERP Functional like Implementation, Pre-Sales, Designing, Maintenance, Testing and Support.
I am very much interested in learning Business and solving issues using methods independant of a software product. Now I want to work for a non-IT SCM/Business Consulting firm. The Solution offered might include IT as well as non-IT process improvements.
But the question is where to find such firms. Do they recruit some one having a profile like mine. Can anybody, who had such a transition in his/her career, share his experience. What are the pros and cons of making such a career move.
Thank You in advance.
