I think the option of six people working on making car a day is much efficient and valable rather than other one because it will enhance coordination and team work, which always yields good results. Since they are making a car daily it means many things done by each man, making them master of many things and reducing the dependency level.
Sumit has already listed the reasons in support of best answer. These are the well known facts.Good answer Sumit. Few more thoughts in addition:
1.When the six people work as a team, the level of comfort and pressure is different and in fact is less and this helps them in delivering quality output
2.Each individual has the option to put forth his experiences and help the team in making a successful out come
3.Communication gaps can be avoided and this helps in increasing the confidence level in team work
4.The mistakes done by team on each day can be taken care in the next day's chores
There is no data on productivity and product demand. Assuming its a hot cake, all the six shall produce one daily, sell it and maintain the cash flow. Another aspect is the transportation. If the cars are to be transported far and sending all together is economical then no need of producing one daily. But then the assumption is that all the six are equally efficient. If supply of spares is the concern then better start making all the six together so that they are always at the same stage and thus the spares required would be the same thus lesser inventory management and benefit of quantity in negotiation.
I mean the business requirement will set the priority. The analysis above is very crude and very wide.
I totally agree with what sumit has said, its better if all of them combine together and make a car in a day rather than a single person going for it, with team one has better chance to complete the project in a better way than individual, as one can compensate for another and the product delivered will be of higher qualty.
The best approach here would be for six people to work on making one car a day rather than each of the members working individually on six different cars.
reasons -
- The quality of cars produced willll be consistent, rather than varying across different individuals.
- When a team is involved, the ideas which come out for making the car will be fool proof.
- if a team member is inefficient, the other members can compensate for it and still meet the deadline and target.
let me know if you have any other thoughts

There are six people and they had a project to make six cars in six day. What they should plan? Would they work together to make one car per day or they should work seperately and each person makes their car in six days. |
Yes. Action speaks louder then words. Here we all r connected via sentences and words only but we can apply these thing at the place where we work. |
really a great "Joke of The Year"..........Really nice one..... |
