A very nice question. I see the so called "Web 2.0" as a vision in wich nice and feature-filled webapplications and dynamic contentsites give the user what they aqcuire. The collective sites on wich the content is filled by it's dynamic community of users is a great added value.
I think that Web 3.0 will be more of a multiplatform linked communitie where one can find JUST the info and services he/she acquires and is not bound to ONLY the internet but has these services available on phones vs internet vs TV vs One of the most defining aspects of Web 3.0 will be the shift from desktop applications to web-based applications. With more bandwidth available than ever before applications will be rich in functionality and design and capable of working with large files.
I see TV being watched via a web application on your TV and phone calls being made via web applications too - from your computer or your mobile phone.
Another crucial characteristic of Web 3.0 will be embedding of enhanced Artificial Intelligence(AI) into web applications. This AI must enhance our lives and give us what we want, when we want it.
