We are celebrating independence of india in a big way....then what about corruption?
Well, let us celebrate what can be celebrated. There are many issues that remain unresolved and are not prioritised; Accepted! corruption is one among those. I am sure India would have seen many Rohinis, one in the year 1960, one in 1969, ..1970, .., 1990....and now in 2009 who says,
If we use it properly we can fight against this issue as well.''
...but is this happening ???? Do WE use it properly ???
Youngsters ( no age limit is required to question the wrong doer !! )can change things, once, twice, thrice.. He will also succeed, but in a practical situation He will not be there to celebrate the success ( ofcourse worst case ) and things continue in the other corner.
Only the law breakers should realise the impact and get self-reformed.
... and Dikshitji, foreigners might not have a complete insight on this matter, I believe we should consider the voice of the localites in this case.
My dream : No service personnel should accept bribe to go against the law.
I rethink...
My dream : No service personnel should expect bribe to render a service to a citizen which He/She deserves by law.
We can not blame any one or group for corruption. We are living in an independent country where we have many rights given by our govnt. If we use it properly we can fight against this issue as well.
we have many young leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot and many more who are becoming the voice of young India and with more youngsters taking part in politics and in other domains we can surely see a neat and clean nation making its mark in the whole world.
Its my dream about our country.
Regards,
Manju Dagar
Dear shekhar, first of all we should understand, corruption is not outside but inside us. India is not merely politicians but we...the people of India. If we are corrupted, our country is corrupted. Still today people take & give bribes, make their city dirty, while electing a certain candidate, we only see how much benificial he is for "me" not for the country. There also we think about us first. This mentality of thinking only about ourselves is the main reason of corruption. We blame politics to be corrupted. But how many of us really want to go and clean that corruption ? Nobody...We are only good to blame others but never try to implement good things within ourselves. This is the main reason for the starting to corruption. If every Indian changes himself, country will get changed automatically.
i feel corruption is a function of incompetency and if any department has more of it ,it will have more of corruption. Now take for example in private sector there is a visible competency level and therefore the corruption is not that much.Bot in govt. sector because of the said factor there is lot of it.I think govt has taken a rt decision of increasing the pay-packets of govt employees. This will attract competent staff to manage the govt. machinery and hence that will help curb corruption.Though its a long drawn process as it will take a long to cleanse the system of the incompetent people.
Hi,
First of all
Happy Independence Day
Now coming to the question raised here about corruption.
We can not blame any particular person or group for corruption. We are living in an independent sate where we have many rights given by our govnt. If we use it properly we can fight against this issue as well.
we have many young leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot and many more who are becoming the voice of young India and with more youngsters taking part in politics and in other domains we can surely see a neat and clean nation making its mark in the whole world.
Regards,
Rohini.
