In the case of technologies there are new opportunities opening and offered by new functional materials, nanomedicine, new biomarkers, targeted drugs, genetics, biochips, 3G, wireless mobile, RFID, Internet, SOA, Web 2.0, electronic patient record, and other healthcare information systems.. in fact the list can go on.
