A bridge is a structure built to connect a valley, road, railroad track, river, body of water, or any other physical obstacle, for the simple purpose of providing passage over the obstacle. Designs of bridges will vary depending on the function of the bridge and the nature of the terrain where the bridge is to be constructed. As you know India is a developing country and there is so many heavy construction going on in various cities like building bridges, metro rail projects, monorail and elevated highway projects coming up, so to construct these it requires huge equipments, So my question to all the construction people is, What are the different building equipments that are used for these sort of structures.

Movable Scaffolding System (MSS) For Cast-In-Situ Concrete Bridge Construction.
I have seen this equipment used in Bangalore near Electronic city for building the elevated highway, and the work is also moving at a faster pace,the MSS has a design of unique hinge connection that has made it possible to build superstructures with a horizontal radius. Completely prefabricated reinforcement cages can be lifted into position. Where height restrictions pose no problem then an underslung MSS is usually the preferred solution. The internal framework system is generally the same on both the overhead and underslung MSS. Framework panels of approximately 5m in length are folded and transported from one span to the next using a rolling wagon, which runs on rails. The cycle speed of the MSS will be determined to a large extent by the rolling wagon and internal framework design, usually the MSS operate on a weekly cycle.
