" The for most important in achieving the quality is the commitment from management to produce quality product. The firm commitment form the top management will naturally flow down to all the level and motivate the entire enterprise towards quality. All other tools are secondary to this. "

Yes this is true! Imagine eating habits -> Hands should be neat , food should be chewed , eat only as much as your body needs. A person who is health concious will definitely follow all these ..so its a  quality life style.

I agree 100% with Mr. Kadhal Ammutham , Quality is commitment towards anything , need not be necessarily only in production or manufacturing.

Quality lies in head of a person , as beauty lies in the eyes of a beholder! Making this quality specific or unique to a product is Quality Deployment , charts and all other activities fall under deployment activities.

I think that Flowcharts is the most efficient quality control tool not just in manufacturing but in every field. It is a common type of chart that represents an algorithm or process.Flowcharts are used in analyzing, designing, documenting or managing a process or program which is very important in the manufacturing process.

One of the quality control tools is Pareto analysis. In Pareto chart all the causes of defects/non-conformances are arranged in their decending order of thier percentage of total defects. From the chart we will observe that 80% of defects/nonconformaces are occured due to 20% of total causes. And rest 20% defects occured due to all other 80% causes. This tool will help an organisation to identify those top contributing causes for nonconformance.

well i fink to control quality i wud like to go for an idea of a flow chart bec. dey represent gud information n every change in quality

also i fink as now a days everyfing specially raw materials are getting expensive so one may opt the idea of recycling the used products dat is definitely going to save one's time and money n one may pay more attention towards the quality

also one must keep a check one on's workers bec. dey r dose who actually are going to produce ur product

In my opinion to get good quality product on consistant basis one should follow SOP( Standard Operating Procedure) very strictly.Afterwards benchmark has to be set as far as quality is concerened at shopfloor.
Shopfloor is the first and last place for taking any corrective action."
