From a small business to a large corporate organizations a trademark or service mark is a valuable business asset for them. There are many reasons why a business should consider registering its trademarks and service marks. So what are the reasons behind registering a trademark and why?? Let me kno your views on this...

Among a number of product/service range if you need an identity to your product/service then you must registered a trademark creating your own... it will give your product/service a unique identity in the eyes of law and no body can penetrate this identity of your product/service..... it may be for a certain period with an option to continue with the same....

selling your business - Someday you will sell your business due to various reasons, the value of Trademarks are the key drivers to the valuation of a business. For that reason, many buyers look at the seller's trademark protection when conducting their due diligence. If the potential buyer values your trademark or service mark as a key component of your business' goodwill then you will be having a very good deal interms of sale of your company......

It helps mainly in the Expansion of Business, According to me when you are expanding your business all over the country people will recogize the Trademark of the company or business that you are having, It will be very easy to start of your business with ease at different locations than the parent location which took some years to get recognized..So registering Trademark helps you in expanding your business...
