As an alternate to river sand for its use in internal plaster,there is an alternate material very much in use in North now a days.This is called Gypsum Plaster-A readymixed plaster material being supplied by India Gypsum,Sakarni & Dudhi Plaster etc.Tata Housing,MGF and a few other small developers have already started using it.There is a premixed material for external plaster also developed by JK cement,but that is to be done as spray plaster,requiring skilled masons and it reslults in lot of wastage also.
