What is the disadvantage of AJAX?

1. It doesnot reloads the address bar of the browser. This is a disadvantage when a website uses friendly URLs.

2. It is not supported by the browser that doesnot have javascript enabled.

  1. 1. Also it is not SEO friendly.
  2. 2. Makes a barrier for Web crawlers and spiders

And also

1.If the band width is low then Ajax performance will degrade Ex: check gmail when net is slow.

2.Javascript is browser dependent, so one should be careful while coding as it will not be same code for IE,firefox..
