Write here your views about media.
As far as electronic media i feel all the channels specificly hindi news channel who have the most mass apeal are doing no good they are just doing business and showing stuff that is even not news ..I give you some examples
- What happend the XYZ reality shows and there clips.
- Some story related to religon and mythologigal belives
- What went well or wrong in the crickect match or what will happen in it......(Tooo long and unnessay analysis by the players who themselfs were not very good cricketers)
- Some reconstruction of a crime seen.
- Astrology and Sunsigns
So ...
What do you think media is plying a great role...... as a changemaker ............for our society ???....

Media means mode of commuincation for public, & leads the situations in prespective manner.Media is for mass whether one like it or not & if section of commuinty who not recognise the significance of it. Media became essence of these days life in positive way ,surely media encompasses with hinge of negitvity .Media is playing role as changemaker is a answer in itself I don't consider it as question its strong statement pilllared by strong facts.
Media is influencing the people for sure. But why in the negative way. It has the right and the duty to change our view point in a positive manner. There are 2 ways in which a piece of news can be delivered. But if its delivered in the negative way, then it can lead to a destructive mentality. So the media should play its role in the positive sense.
Media has done lot of good things to the society and it has became the part of life now a days. Without media it is tough to live... thats what the situation now. But instead of giving lot of importance to negative side of the world or country they can put efforts to focus on the positive happenings around us whcih will make lot of productive energy around us.

I wish to start the topic in a different phase
1.Mankind is resistant for change........
2.If a lie is told hundred times,its seems to be a truth
U know in past few times i have gone through some ban ,challenging but intresting days,the things were really different for me these days to tackle.Any ways i will relate my story to current topic,but first two things i initiated.
1.Please think that if media is doing something gas a change maker ,y we are resisting .let it be done na?whats the crap?????
2.In my last problems i just have learnt:change is always good"
Now if we can relate these two things to current topic ,it can become a nice debate.
Nodoubt media has changed our lives. It has educated people and have updated them time 2 time. This is global market. It's upto u what to take and what to drop. Media is a package which contains every type of news. The one which u feel is useless, drop it. I dont' deny that there should b some ethics and some people forget them. Afterall like all other fields, Media also posess good and average people. The cameraman who is shooting at a spot where a man has set himself on fire is guilty. He should b taught to save that man first and then shoot for his channel. Similarly, a journalist is fool who dares to ask a mother how she feel, who has lost her only son in an accident or a bomb blast. As the society expects a teacher should teach honestly, it expects a journalist to perform his duties.
Beeing the fourth pillar of our constitution, midia is ona big rule if it performs it well, It can reach mass and can change temporarily the situation, but on the long run ,it is its base, truth, and impartiality will take position.
Yes definetly media can become a society changer- if it wants in real mean
The media is playing a negative role in the society now a days? It is provoking and misleading the public. Giving unnecessarily importance for the news which give trps etc.,
i agree with mr samuel that yellow journalism and tabloids are influencing the public in a very negative and indecent way. in all newspapers you just read about crime and politics, it's a very depressing reflection of society.
