Two major costs after or for the requirements like Sarbanes Oxley and FAS 123R are:
- Training of the current employees
- Consultants and contractors for getting aligned/ adjustments for compliance etc
And yes, I see major changes in job descriptions and requirements now, although salary is still a personal item and quite un-disclosed.
