Wonderful explanation, Jabir. "Mechanics" in Physics deals with the study of Motion. You can term "Mechanism" as a set of moving parts in a machine that is set to perform a specific task.

Mechanism is the connection or joining of the rigid bodies to accomplish a desired motion or force.
