The best way to become better is to learn to incorporate one quality/talent/skill from the successful people around us. If others can improve their world... we can too. Lets share one thing we do to make our world... happier, healthier, better?

Anyways I try keeping relationships fresh by regular keep-in-touch policy...

Agree with Gargi. Anyway i would say greeting your contacts on their birth or wedding days would help in improving your relationships.

hi Santosh inspite of my busy schedule I make it a point to wish people on their birthdays, anniversaries and festivals. In all I keep in touch with my near and dear ones , friends and family 16-18 times a year that is the no of festivals we have in our country. Plus whenever I meet people I always give them an enthusiastic and cheerful hello and never show them even if I am in pain or going through bad times. And go to one's help or support whenever its possible for me. Let me know if you have anything to share on this.

(1) ALWAYS BE THERE WHENEVER ANYONE ONE OF YOUR RELATIVES ARE FACING DIFFICULTIES, BECAUSE WE OFTEN SEE THAT IN HAPPY MOMENTS EVERYONE IS WITH US, BUT WHEN WE ARE IN SORROWFUL MOMENTS, GENERALLY FIND NOBODY BESIDE US.

(2) EVEN IF YOUR OWN FAMILY MEMBERS OR RELATIVES HAVE LEFT YOU ALONE IN DIFFICULT TIMES, WELCOME THEM BACK IN YOUR LIFE WITH WIDE GRIN, AS YOU FIND HAPPY DAYS BACK IN YOUR LIFE, WITHOUT THINKING THAT THEY LEFT ME ALONE WHEN I WAS FACING DIFFICULTIES. DO NOT HOLD ANY KIND OF GRUDGE AGAINST THEM. OF COURSE IT PAINS US, JUST FORGET THE PAIN WHAT THEY HAD GIVEN TO YOU AND FORGIVE THEM WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

Keep prejudices and politics away when talking with a person if the relationship between them has to grow....NaiPaul

This has a psychological conotation, malicious talk, violence, sex, unmeaningfulnes, suspicion and intutions are all signs of mental problem. So politics and prejudices are part of suspicion and intution so the relationship tend to be between unhealthy people and will rock instead of grwoing. Thanks for the referral Gargi.
