A system administrator plays a key role in an organization.
Unlike many professions, there is no single path to becoming a system administrator. Few colleges or universities have specific programs for system administration, so many system administrators have a degree in generic fields: computer science, computer engineering, information system management, or even a trade school program.
So what could be the career paths for the syste m administrators?
as far as i am concerned it is of great interest for me,i think system adminstrator has a prime importance wherver ther is a setup of computers in an organisation
i can advise u some courses outside of the university.There are many institutes in india offering networking courses which covers all the syllabus from basic networking to mcse, ccna and juniper network certification. Some institutes like cms, cmc, jetking offer the coaching in a real time environment, which a network or system administrator is required to do in any organisation.
can you tell me what are the qualification need for sys. admin
As the system admin playes a key role in a organisation, in the same way this are the subjects or programs which play the key role to become an administrator, in the sence what are the subject you are studying this is only an idea, where becomming an administrator is practical and experience thing which was never provided by any of the universities.
For every professionalism the bottom line is experience and practical.

Its not safe to keep confidential data and important data in the hard disk as there is risk of its crashing or data loss. So its preferable to keep 2-3 backups of the datas in external storage devices or CDs. |
