Freedom has different connotations to different people and different situations. Like song written and recorded by Paul McCartney in response to the September 11, 2001 attacks.
It's like, "Hey, I've got freedom, I'm an immigrant coming to America, give me your huddled masses." And that's what it means to me, is, "Don't mess with my rights, buddy. Because I'm now free.""

We wanted freedom as we felt that we were being ruled by Foreigners and they are exploiting us for their benefit.
As we got freedom and we govern our countrywith full confidence that we are not exploited.
It is like moving around in our own house rather than somebody's house.
Freedom according to me is to respect my freedom and to respect other's freedom and not abusing the meaning of freedom.

As a kid you are governed by parents, teachers even your friends, as you grow you are governed by parents now there are professors and lecturers who govern you literally, as you grow further you are governed by your bosses whether you are right or wrong, further as you start getting the sigh of relief (rather start breathing the freedom of earning your own money and enjoying suddenly you are governed by your spouse and slowly by kids, as you grow further you are governed by doctors and all the ailments governed by medicines, and further all your chances are survival are governed by the almighty.... so in average life of 55 years where do you get time to feel the freedom???? P.S. : read this with a smile on your face else I'll be governed by many more from toostep.

what is popular and what is not aree bhai jeeoaaa...live life do not waste it being judgemental.tryingto know what is right and what is wrong.if you keep trying to find everything in moralistic attitude and end up in what is right what is wrong..........etc etc when would you live.
freedom is not in a way someone think about it and writes a book what do you feel is freedom.

freedom for me is not the act to perform coz i like it but..its way to act in the way so that it will ultimately help you to grow with the sense of responsibility ,respect as well as enjoyment too
According to me, freedom means without any boundaries or pressure, nobody is there to point of your deeds. You enjoy however you want. But also we should not forget, when it comes to country, we should not forget there are some rules and regulations in the absence of which peace cannot be there. That is known as "LAW"
Freedom according to me is the right we are enjoying in the country without any hesitation, the right to think in ur own way and apply that thinking in ur everyday personal life under no pressure, that is freedom
"NATIONALISM" I think personl consideration of freedom is somewhat triving its real essence, it was a collective effort and acheivement of our freedom fighter... since people have taken freedom in personal forms the true essence of freedom "NATIONALISM" looses its worth.... i feel belongingness of one towards his nation is true essence...
