My son aged 14 is interested in drawing cartoon characters and writing stories based on these characters. I am interested to give him guidence for improving and getting his stories published.
Also he likes to give life to his characters through computer softwares. I am not aware what is available and what is best suited for his age.
Requests your opinion.
Provide him with pencils color pencil sketch pen water,oil,acrylic color and lots and lots of paper.Gift him all the artistic materials he asks for.Let him draw as much as he wants.If he is interested in digital drawing and coloring.Buy him a nice workstation(with graphic support) and a big Monitor PLUS Wacom's INTIOUS pen and tablet."Sketchbook pro,Photoshop and Paint add all these into his machine

You can join him in photoshop, coral draw, etc... he can understand these two softwares at this age.....
